Chance and I have been soooo busy rock hunting, washing, cutting, shaping, polishing, wrapping rocks or putting them on trays before the holidays and I was making tons of Halloween bows, that we have neglected the store. I also had surgery a month ago so that took me out for a bit. I was able to make bows and some amazing earrings when I was supposed to be taking it easy though. I will be posting those too. We’ve made some great graphic rocks and some are on display and for purchase at Strandz. A few bows are for sale at the Cody Center for the Performing Arts as well. We were hoping to be in a few craft fairs but they take those vendors who had done it the previous year first. So we got put on the waiting list. The big one this weekend… we don’t think we will get a call to go. We did do one the other weekend and it didn’t go well. Just didn’t really sell anything and we were disappointed. But they are all different and you never know which one will be the one you do good at. We spent so much time getting our displays ready. Sanding, painting, staining, building. We got new packaging for our products. It looked the best it has, but we just didn’t sell even enough to cover what we paid to have a spot. Such a bummer. My Halloween bows didn’t sell well either. I only sold 5! They are so cute so if you or your daughter, sister, cousin, neighbor, niece likes Halloween… you will see a bunch in the store. I am now focusing on getting this store up to date, posting EVERYTHING, and making it looks so much better and be functional. So, if you click on a folder and nothing is there, don’t worry! I just haven’t posted anything in it yet. It can be quite time consuming. If there is a folder, there will be items as soon as I can get them up.
